Rooms and facilities…

q How many persons can be accommodated?

Being, split between two levels, comfortably accommodates six to eight adults or two families. We can sleep up to 10 persons.

q Are all rooms air-conditioned?                                            

One room, the Blue Room, is air-conditioned. But through the open architecture and the fresh breeze of the islands air-condition is not a must. The romantic room for example has 13 doors. Overhead fans are however available.

 q What is the size of “Being” in terms of qm2?

300 qm2

q Do all rooms have sea view?

Yes, and not do only all rooms offer spectacular sea views, but all of our bathrooms have sea views as well.

q Is there a pool?

Yes, there is a swimming pool a with a size of 40’length x12’ wide x 4-8’ deep and with overflow feature, seeming to merge into the Caribbean Sea. With its overflow feature, the pool is fully open on once side.

q Is there a beach on the villa’s premise?

Yes, a small and very private beach, Turtle Bay, that is less than a ten-minute walk down to the sea. In addition, there is a beach at Arnos Vale Hotel (walking: 10 minutes) and a very secret cove directly below the property (reachable with a challenging climb).

q How many rooms are there?

q Are there washing facilities (and how is the kitchen equipped)?

There is a fully equipped kitchen, pantry, washing machine & dryer. We offer complementary washing and laundry service including a turndown service.

 The villa rental fee includes the exclusive use of the villa, its team of staff, gas and electricity charges, cleaning supplies, linen including both towels and beach towels, as well as government tax.

q Do we have to pay for cook additionally?                           

No, the team of “Being” includes an excellent local chef who will prepare dishes when and as you wish.

q Are all meals included?    

Daily continental breakfast is part of our welcome, as well as fruit from our farm throughout your stay. Being's team will shop for you, and prepare delicious meals you can select, to fit your timetable, served where you want them.

q Do we have to shop for our own food?

You can if you wish, but we also offer complementary shopping service. Our cook likes to personally select the freshest ingredients from land and sea for your meals.

q Is a rental car included in the price ?                             
Yes

q Is there an airport transfer?                                    

Yes, all guests at Being are met at Tobago's airport and transported to the villa. On departure, we take you to the plane.

q Does “Being” offer discounts?

q Do you stock the villa?

Yes, the villa will be stocked with enough food & drinks to get you going. This service is complementary. There will also be a complementary welcome dinner for you.

 

About the location…

q Where is Tobago?

Tobago is one of the Caribbean Islands, located at the southern end of the Caribbean archipelago. Tobago, the small, mountainous, lush and unspoiled sister-island to Trinidad, sits near the southern end of the Caribbean archipelago, not far off the Venezuelan coast. It's an island still free of the trappings of mass tourism, with hospitable people who take pride in their heritage and have time to welcome a stranger. No mega hotels, but regular air service into a small, modern airport. No hurricanes, but steady trade winds and evening breezes to keep things cool.

q Where is “Being” located?

Being is located at the Tobago’s north coast at Arnos Vale Secret Mountain Estate, just a 10-min. walk away from the Caribbean Sea

q How far is “Being” from the airport?

The airport is only 25 minutes away by car

q Are stores for shopping near by?

Yes, just 10 minutes by car

q How far is the next town or village?

Plymouth is the closest town and is only 5 minutes away by car

q Are there hotels and restaurants near by?

Yes, the Arnos Vale Hotels is a leisurely 7 minute walk away. The romantic Water Wheel restaurant is set in a tropical rainforest and is a 10 min. drive away.

q What other sites are around?

Beyond Being is Tobago, with its incredible variety of birds and flowering plants, and the oldest forest preserve in the New World. It's a place where you can dive and snorkel, play golf, and explore tiny, picturesque fishing villages.

q What kind of entertainment is offered nearby?

On Friday nights, major restaurants and hotels offer live entertainment including Limbo and the famous Steel Band.

About “Being’s” special team….

q How many staff does the villa have?

-     Manager, housekeeper/laundress, cook, cook’s driver, gardener, maintenance supervisor, estate keeper/guardian, airport chauffer, pool attendant.

- our team of ten is there to pamper you with wonderful meals and caring service. Unlike at many other vacation homes, they disappear into their own Estate House when they're not needed.

q What services does the staff provide?

We offer the services of airport transfers, cooking, cleaning, laundry and shopping for the freshest ingredients daily.  Daily turndown service and meal service, helpful advice on making your stay with us a memorable one.  You will get to know our team during your stay and we are sure you will find them pleasant, courteous and helpful.

q Does staff have their separate accommodation?

Yes, the team has its separate Estate House were they can relax. The house is located at another location on the estate.

q What are the working hours of the staff?

Please note that all staff members, including the cook, have one day off each week.   It is suggested that guests sample the island restaurants on these occasions.

q Does staff stay on the premise?

Yes, one member of the team stays at the Estate House at the entrance of our five area organic fruit estate.

q Will we have privacy?

Being cannot be seen from the road. It is just you and the sea, the lush green, the stars, the sun and the clouds. And the team won’t be heard or seen when they’re not needed - just let them know when they are needed.

 

“Being” for families…

q Is “Being” children friendly?

Yes, Being large estate and the pool and nearby beaches make it children friendly. However, because of the properties location, care and attention is advised.

q Is baby-sitting available?

Daytime or evening baby-sitting can easily be arranged and costs are paid directly to the sitter. To avoid traveling home alone late at night, it is normal procedure for clients to arrange and cover the cost of a taxi for evening baby-sitters after 11.00 p.m.

q Do you have dogs?

q Is “Being” as safe place and what kind of security is offered?

The team of the villa also includes a night watch, Spice, who will take care of your safety so you will sleep well. Please do not hesitate to call Spice at the Estate House anytime if needed (639-1819).
